Step-by-step guide
- Close the smoke dampers for both the fireplace and the sauna by pushing the handles in.
- Close any ventilation windows you opened. These include windows in the sauna, behind the dining table and in the bedroom with two single beds.
- Empty the hot tub by loosening the orange loop counter-clockwise and pulling the plug out carefully. If the plug is frozen, pour warm water over it and wait a moment.
- Unplug the electric hot tub heater.
- Lock the door when you leave.
Important notes
If the hot tub does not begin draining immediately, wait about 30 minutes and try again.
If you notice any damage or unusual issue at departure, report it straight away.
