Step-by-step guide

1. Always fill the hot tub before lighting a fire. Heating the tub when it is too empty will damage the stove.
2. For filling, use the water post and hose on the exterior wall. In winter, the hose and plug are stored in the warm dressing room.
3. Close the water tap carefully. It may continue to release extra water after closing, which is normal and helps prevent freezing.
4. Keep the lid on during heating and add firewood regularly. Heating takes about 3 to 5 hours.
5. Before starting the heating, make sure the stove pipe is under water. Heating can begin when the pipe is about 5 cm below the surface.
6. Place the dispenser with a multifunction chlorine tablet into the water whenever the tub is not in use. Close the lid after bathing so the water stays warm for the next day.
7. Multifunction tablets, a mixing paddle and a skimmer can be found on the terrace or in the dressing room.
8. The toilet-side valves can be used to mix in partly warm water, but note that the tub holds about 1500 litres and the hot water boiler holds 300 litres.
9. The additional electric heater is intended for keeping water warm, not for heating cold water from the start. Keep the lid on and use around half power.
